Announcement from Paul Sonnier to Wireless Health LinkedIn Group Members

April 14, 2011

I sent the following announcement to 5,500+ Wireless Health LinkedIn Group Members on April 14, 2011:

Dear Wireless Health group members,

I want to highlight the recently-announced cross-Atlantic partnership between WLSA and EuMHA. Also, I’d like to invite any group members who are not already connected with me on LinkedIn to please send me an invite. Lastly, as many of you have seen at the top of my events page, I now have an email registration form on my website. Stay tuned via these alternate communication channels for big things I’m working on to address significant, currently unmet needs of the global wireless health and mHealth ecosystem!

WIRELESS-LIFE SCIENCES ALLIANCE (WLSA) AND EUROPEAN MHEALTH ALLIANCE (EUMHA) ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
The Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance (WLSA) and the European MHealth Alliance (EuMHA) have entered into a strategic association partnership. According to Rob McCray, President and CEO of WLSA, “We see this collaboration with EuMHA as an opportunity for two like-minded organizations to work together for a common purpose that is of benefit to both our members and those of EuMHA. We will connect the two memberships and encourage business opportunities and improvements in healthcare. WLSA is a global organization that is focused on accelerating innovation in wireless health to improve access to quality care.” As Ilkka Vartiainen, CEO of EuMHA said: “MHealth is a global organization with the potential to improve citizens’ lives, reduce costs and bring economic benefits to countries and companies. We in EuMHA welcome WLSA as a member and collaborator. The perspective Rob and his members will bring will further enable us to provide leadership in Europe in this exciting and worthwhile mission.”
